SATYRICON "To Your Brethren In The Dark" Official Music Video

SATYRICON premierded on Diablorock.com video clip of the track "To Your Brethren In The Dark". I just want to say that I like the video and I like the song even more.  And I also want to reproduce here Satyr´s words (very cool and interesting) about the vide and the song:

"I wanted "To Your Brethren in the Dark" to be a director´s interpretation of the song, rather than a band performance type of thing. Seeing what we do through the eyes of another artist is always interesting to me and just like the song, the video has become a little bit of a journey on it´s own. "To Your Brethren In The Dark" is definitely one of the flagship songs on the record. It is about emotion, our nature, the spirits, the autumn, the somber and rainy days, those who we lost and the ones who we have not met yet. You could say it is a tribute to the sorrow in man and to the drama of the nature we surround ourselves with. A song for the dark towers of the past and those who will rise in the future. Pass the torch to your brethren in the dark." 

SATYRICON "Deep Calleth Upon Deep" New LP

Rock ´n Roll baby!, yeah Norwegian Black Metallers (whaaaat????!) SATYRICON unveiled details of the upcoming album "Deep calleth upon Deep" coming out next 22^nd September via Napalm Records.

The Album was recorded in Oslo and Vancouver during early 2017. Frontman Satyr spke regarding this new release: 

“Approaching this release, what I always kept in mind is that either this is the beginning of something new or it’s gonna be my last record. If this is going to be the last, then it needs to be something special. If there are more records, then I’d better make sure that this is so different from the last one that it feels like a new beginning. I think it’s really, really dark, very spiritual and filled with confidence and energy.

The way that I see it is that for any art, be it SATYRICON or any other form of art with substance, in order for you to be able to inhale and completely understand it, it will take a little bit of you as well. If you get it all after a couple of listens, you know that it probably won’t stay with you. So the title is saying, ‘From the depth of the people making this record to the depth of the listener…’ If you want to take part in this journey, you should be prepared to dig deep down in the darkest corner of your soul with us."

Some people is complaining about the cool cover artwork or so it seems, but I like it, let´s see if the music is as interesting as song titles like “Blood Cracks Open the Ground" The Ghost of Rome" or "Balck Wings and Withering Gloom"
