ABSU Origin: War And Mgick
"Every great story has a prologue"... so begins the official post announcing the release of a compilation of pre-ABSU material entitled "Origin: War and Magick". Featuring recordings of the bands DOLMEN and MAGUS, described as "two occult metal manifestations...that together, helped to forge one of the the most well know acts in the underground today" .
The deluxe 12" vinyl editions of MAGUS - Ruminations of Debauchery [demo 1992] and DOLMEN - On the Eve of War [demo 1994].will be released soon [release date TBA] in cooperation with The Crypt Records and ABSU members Proscriptor and Equitant, THE GALLERY...

ZEMIAL - New album on the Horizon!
Archon Vorskaath posted the following news regarding ZEMIAL "I have been in the studio composing new music, much of which is written for the next Zemial release tentatively titled "Lurking". Archon revealed more details about the work completed..."So far, I have completed the main frames, melodies and arrangements for 4 new titles, that will make up the largest part of the new album, which once again, promises to be diverse.
"Storms of November"
A prog. instrumental inspired as the title implies, by the storms of this past November.
"Echoes of distant Moons"
A short soundscape using an ARP synth, a bow and cymbal.
"Aeon" (ΑΙΩΝ)"
One of my most ambitious compositions thus far.
A friend, Luciano Voidhanger, approached me to compose a piece of music based on a Tarot card from the tradition of Aleister Crowley. The card that was drawn for me - fittingly - was Aeon, also known as Judgement.
As I have taken a very particular approach for this piece, I will make a separate entry with details explaining the conceptual and theoretical approach.

After reading this I´m really looking forward to the successor of NYKTA, which is in my opinion the best album released in 2013!

The next statement is from TRIPTYKON´s Official Facebook page :
A personal message from Tom Gabriel Warrior: "The box set with extra items, limited to an edition of 2000, contains the mediabook edition of the album. It is not a Triptykon product, however, but a Century Media idea (much like the 10" box is a Nuclear Blast-only edition). I strongly dislike the CM box, and it is my personal recommendation to Triptykon's fans not to purchase it."
"CM have licensed the rights for the album and can thus market it as they wish, but that doesn't mean there are merits in such a limited edition venture. I personally feel it is in bad taste and does not represent Triptykon. All items which are officially issued by Triptykon (i.e., the mediabook CD, the pendant, and the tote bag) will be available separately through the usual outlets, so there is no need to support such a cheap and ill-fitting marekting venture."

AUTOPSY New Album!
Cult Death Metal act AUTOPSY will release a new album this April.
